Joseph Cartron Crème de Fraise des Boise
Created with wild strawberries, Crème de Fraise des Bois boasts a delicate taste
with an intense aroma. The whole distillation process draws on a unique recipe that
has been kept in the Cartron family for four generations.
Vats are loaded with fruits to 2/3 of their volume then topped with surfine alcohol.
Utilizing cold temperatures, the maceration lasts five to seven weeks to guarantee
a perfect result. After the infusion is decanted and carefully filtered, crystallized
sugar is slowly mixed in until saturated. This process brings out the fruity flavor,
much like strawberry preserves.
