Arran Pomerol Cask Finish
The Arran Malt in this limited edition bottling was finished for
a period of 6 months in casks previously used to mature wine from the famous Château
La Conseillante in the Pomerol region of Bordeaux. La Conseillante dates back to
1735 and their wine is a blend of 80% Merlot & 20% Cabernet Franc. It is aged
in French oak barrels for 18 months. The Arran Single Malt in this bottling was
matured for 8 years in traditional oak casks before being finished in the Pomerol
Casks.
