MUCHOTE™ Tequila is distilled in Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico by the Vivanco family distillery located in the Highlands region. The distillery uses only estate grown, 100% Weber Blue Agave, and they continue to use traditional artisan production methods that have remained unchanged for three generations. The final product is aged in small charred American bourbon oak casks for at least 7 months, which impart the full flavor and golden color to the tequila. Will and Dave Elger, along with the Vivanco family, oversee all aspects of MUCHOTE™ production including final tasting and the bottling of every batch.
